For over 45 years, Hayes Law Offices has been serving the Pataskala community while also assisting clients throughout the state of Ohio. Founded in 1978, we are a family owned and operated small business. We pride ourselves on offering personal attention and listening to our clients' concerns.

Our Attorneys

Attorneys Scott and Dan Hayes are sons of the firm's founder and are pleased to follow in his footsteps. Scott, who joined the firm in 1993, is certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law. Dan rejoined the firm in 2007 after serving as Licking County's Common Pleas Magistrate. He now handles personal injury and other complex litigation matters.

Attorney Melinda Seeds also joined the firm in 2007 after serving as Licking County's chief juvenile prosecutor from 1994 to 2006. She offers insight and experience in both family and juvenile law.

Attorney Laurie Wells, previously an adult probation officer, joined the firm in 2008. She primarily handles real estate matters.

Attorney Sheena Sjöstrand-Post practiced independently prior to joining the firm in 2013. She excels in estate planning and administration.

Attorney Samuel Seeds, who joined the firm in 2021, also followed in a parent's footsteps into law. His areas of practice include estate and trust administration, estate planning, and business matters.

Finally, Attorney Sydnie Boykins joined the firm in 2023. She specializes in business (including intellectual property) and real estate law.
